Antique Stone Kwan Yin Goddess Bust

The Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, Kwan Yin is the reincarnation
of the monk Bodhisattva Avolikiteshvaya and the most prolific female
figure in Buddhism. Legend says she elected to be re-born as a beautiful
woman in order to marry the king, convince him to become Buddhist and
instill in him the teachings of benevolence and empathy for all living
things. This Kwan Yin stone bust dates back to the days of late Qing
dynasty (1644-1912).
