"Monte Carlo" is a 2011 American adventure-romantic comedy film directed by Thomas Bezucha, based on the short story "Headhunters" by Jules Bass. Produced by Denise Di Novi, Alison Greenspan, Nicole Kidman, and Arnon Milchan, it stars Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, and Katie Cassidy as friends posing as wealthy socialites in Monaco. Despite mixed reviews, the film grossed $39.7 million against a $20 million budget and was released on DVD and Blu-ray in October 2011 by Fox Home Entertainment.
