"Pinocchio" is an East German film released on November 3, 1967, and later in the US in February 1969. The story follows a wooden puppet named Pinocchio created by a master carpenter, who longs to become a real boy and embarks on adventures to achieve his dream. Along the way, he faces challenges, including being kidnapped and sold into slavery, but ultimately rescues his friends and father, fulfilling his wish to become a real, flesh-and-blood boy.
